Here are a few shots of the church on the morning of Sunday, May 6th.
We got hit by a tornado at about 3:30 AM.
Fortunately no one was hurt either at the church or at any of the nearby farms that were hit.
After the damage was discovered at about 7:00 AM, several fellows from the church cleared the debris from the door
(the drive through canopy had collapsed) and they got the roof covered.
Services were held at the normal 10:00 hour, but without power or lights.
We are drying out the inside of the walls that got soaked with big blowers.
About 10002 ft of rain soaked the insulation in the attic will have to be replaced,
and we’re going to need a new roof because so many shingles were lost.
All in all it’s more an inconvenience than anything else, it especially seems that way after having gone through a fire.
